IKF Taps WINTENSITY for the 2010 IKF World Championships

IKF Brings WINTENSITY to the 2010 IKF World Kickboxing
and Muay Thai Championships

The International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) has planned a special event for all registered fighters and coaches attending the 2010 IKF World Classic Amateur Kickboxing and Muay Thai Championships, to be held on July 23^rd, 24^th, and 25^th at the world’s largest Marriott Resort in Orlando, FL.   

Wintensity has accepted an invitation by the IKF to conduct a condensed version of its seminar, The Psychology of Combat and Effective Mental Preparation, following the Rules Meeting on Friday, July 23rd.  The special, 45-minute condensed seminar will be free of charge to all fighters and coaches (and attending family members) registered to compete in the IKF Championship event.  The seminar is scheduled to begin at 7:15pm on Friday the 23rd in a ballroom adjoining the Main Event Ballroom at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort. 

The focus of Wintensity’s seminar training is to teach fighters to perform better under pressure.  Wintensity's seminar educates competitive fighters as to the effects of critical incident stress upon their physical performance, and on the importance of effective mental preparation as part of their fight training.  In addition, Wintensity provides training on new mental and psychological techniques specifically designed to develop better performance when they need it most, ensuring a fighter can reach his or her full potential in the ring. 

IKF President Steve Fossum (pictured right) feels strongly that Wintensity can offer valuable information and new insight on the importance of mental preparation, and new techniques for success to the greatest collection of talented amateur fighters at a single event, worldwide.

Wintensity’s Founder, Eric Parker, is excited to accept the invitation extended by IKF President Steve Fossum, and is honored to conduct a seminar for the IKF, which is designed to help fighters perform better through new training and new education on the mental aspects of peak performance.  The training seminars conducted by Wintensity are geared toward any fighter and any martial arts disclipline, including MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing, and even self-defense martial arts such as Haganah and Krav Maga.

Eric Parker (pictured left) is the 2009 IKF Muay Thai Rules Lightweight World Champion.  Last year, Eric became the first fighter in the history of the IKF World Championships to win all four of his fights, including the final title fight, by Knockout in the first round of each bout. 

Eric has 32-years of martial arts training, has an undefeated Muay Thai fight record at 10-0, a degree in psychology, and a unique background instructing law enforcement and military personnel on tactics, critical incident survival, and mental preparation for deadly-force encounters.
